The Commando Memorial is just outside the village of Spean Bridge, in Lochaber. The memorial was unveiled in 1952 and dedicated to the British Commando forces raised during the Second World War. The site is used for memorial services, and includes a garden of remembrance and a place for relatives to scatter the ashes of loved ones.
