Birla Industrial & Technological Museum, Calcutta, marked a milestone in 1968 with the launch of its Mobile Science Exhibition on ‘Light and Sight.’ Featuring 24 interactive exhibits that explained everything from how our eyes and cameras work to the magic of colours, reflection, refraction, and lenses, the exhibition ignited curiosity among students across Midnapore. The science bus then carried this spark of learning through Calcutta, Howrah, 24-Parganas, Bankura, Purulia, Birbhum, and Murshid

Bringing Science Closer to You! 🚌 The 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 reached a new milestone on December 26, 1966, as India’s first-ever Museobus—featuring exhibits on 'Transformation of Energy'—rolled out from Birla Industrial &Technological Museum, Kolkata. Its journey began at Barsul Vijnan Mandir, Bardhaman, and soon extended to Memari, Kalna, Nabadweep, Katwa, and later Asansol. Within just five months, the bus covered the entire Bardhaman district, sparking scientific cu
